This role is a full time, permanent position with company benefits.
You will be responsible for providing exceptional payroll support to an established Accounting Department with room for advancement.
You will work hand in hand with current Payroll Manager to help manage all payroll matters under assigned areas.
Utilize Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate to create weekly payroll journal entries, key in hours, across multiple States and Unions, as well as input new employee data.
Maintain accuracy and integrity of both Union and non-Union payroll entries and ensure the proper payment allocations and fringe benefits are procured and submitted accordingly for weekly payroll entries depending on Employee classification.
Collect, document and submit Certified Payroll for each job requiring Certified payroll, including backup paperwork for various municipalities (i.
e.
attendance sheets and Prevailing Wage Acknowledgement forms).
Also utilize EBO and Elation platforms for Certified Payroll entries, as required.
Maintain Monthly Employee Utilization Report, as needed.
Duties might include but are not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivables, recording receipts (AMEX, WEX) and filing both computer and paper.
