We are currently hiring for an Accounting Assistant for our Calverton Headquarters.
Job Responsibilities include:
Print daily line up and supporting documents; check off and confirm all trips included Process charges/Refunds; billing/update payments into RBS system; Monthly close - download and review reports, create journal entries Deposit all inbound checks Enter/Post Accounts Payable transactions, as necessary.
Review entries for accuracy and completeness prior to approving posting.
Count and prepare cash for deposit.
Shipping & recording tickets Monitor passenger reports and issue charges where appropriate Enter & Review Daily Cash Receipts Participate in monthly closings by assisting Accounting Manager with closing Journal Entries.
Assists Controller with daily cash management needs including maintaining daily cash registers.
Qualifications and Skills:
Microsoft Excel- Intermediate Proficiency Preferred Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) Basic Accounting Knowledge Required Experience required:
